Return and Refund Policy

At Homeplace Kitchen Limited, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality Hong Kong style sausages and exceptional customer service. There are multiple scenarios that we will gladly accept returns or issue a refund in accordance with the following policy.

Returns

  • Faulty or Damaged Products: If you receive a faulty or damaged product, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to initiate a return and refund process. We will require a clear description of the issue, along with a photo of the faulty or damaged product, to authorise the claim.
  • Incorrect Orders: If you receive an incorrect order, please contact us within 14 days of receipt to inform us of the error. We will arrange for the correct product to be shipped to you and will cover the shipping costs.

 

All returns must be initiated within 14 days from receiving your order, or this cannot be returned after the period has passed.

Refunds

Upon receiving your returned item, we will promptly inspect it and notify you accordingly. If your return meets our criteria, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 14 days. The refund processing time may vary depending on your bank or card issuer’s policies.

 

Please note that we may not grant refunds for items that are damaged, worn, excessively used, or returned without original packaging or proof of purchase.

Shipping Costs for Returns

The cost of shipping a returned item is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure that your return is received.

 

If the product is gone missing or damaged during the return process, we may not process the refund. This will be communicated to you through email.

Exchanges

If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately for assistance. We will promptly exchange it for a new one. 

Procedure for Returns and Refunds

  • Return Instructions: We will provide you with return instructions and a return address. Please ensure that the returned products are securely packaged and include the original packaging and any accompanying documentation.
  • Refund Processing: Upon receiving the returned products, we will inspect them and process your refund accordingly. The refund will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days. 

Exclusions

Our return and refund policy does not apply to the following:

  • Products that have been consumed or tampered with
  • Products that have exceeded the return period
  • Products that are custom-made or personalised
  • Products that are not in their original packaging
